Health and social care in Gloucestershire is making the transition to become an Integrated Care System (ICS),

The ICS represents a major shift in how health and social care services will be delivered in the future. It offers the VCS a significant opportunity for stronger collaboration with the public sector at both a strategic and a local level.
The launch of the ICS has been delayed until 1 July 2022.
This gives the Alliance a realistic timeframe to work together on co-designing effective and equitable representation. In December we held an on-line workshop to gather initial views on a way forward VCSE colleagues. Some of the key messages from this event were:

  • We need to work together to develop a shared view of what is important to us and how we want to engage with the public sector
  • We need to hear the voice of smaller organisations
  • Organisations need to be resourced appropriately to be engaged in strategic work

A follow up event will take place on 28 February 2022 from 1pm-3pm if you would like to participate in the next stage of this work, please book on using the link below.
