Free Mental Health & Wellbeing Support for the VCSE Sector in Gloucestershire to continue until 2025
We're delighted to announce that VCSE sector groups & organisations across Gloucestershire will be able to continue to receive free health & wellbeing support via The Wellbeing Line until 2025.
After a successful 6-month pilot, followed by an extension in late 2023, we are continuing our partnership with The Wellbeing Line so that the sector can continue to access this service.
In a recent report by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) 77% of people surveyed felt that they improved their mental health and overall wellbeing through volunteering in some capacity (NCVO, Time Well Spent Report).
In December 2023 we invited representatives from VCSE sector groups and organisations in Gloucestershire to our first 'Conversations for Change' co-design session.
'Conversations for Change' aims to enable staff members within VCSE sector groups and organisations in the county to open up conversations with individuals about health improvements they can make. Recognising that this can be challenging, we are working in partnership with NHS Gloucestershire ICB to develop a series of training and coaching support sessions to enable team members within VCSE sector groups/organisations to be able to have these conversations more effectively.
